Our Miracles

During our recent visit to Vietnam, we met with the families of the beneficiaries of the fund and it was an overwhelming experience for both the children and myself.

Bui is 7 years old and lives with his parents in Bin Duong, Vietnam.  Bui has been diagnosed with Autism and goes to a special need school.  

Bui's dad works as a factory worker and his mother stays at home to look after Bui and his sibling.   Their family income being below poverty level, they have been referred to us by the religious nuns at the Lovers of the Holy Cross of Tan Lap Congregation.  

Bui now receives ongoing support from us and is thankful to our donors.   

Nguyen was born in Tien Hai but his parents had to move to Lon An Province due to poverty and in search of employment.  Nguyen has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome from the age of 2 and is in need of medical assistance.  

Nguyen's family now receives a monthly sum of money towards his education  and funds are being raised to support his medical expenses. 

Nguyen has also been referred to us by the religious nuns at the Lovers of the Holy Cross of Tan Lap Congregation.  

With the help of the religious leader in one of the local Catholic churches, we were introduced to a family who live in Melbourne on a refugee visa status.  Due to financial distress and medical conditions their struggle to pay the school fees for two of their children has been partially funded by the Charity after careful thought. 

Names are not disclosed as requested by the beneficiary.   Thank you to our Donors in the month of April 24 who helped the family. 

Nguyen Thanh Long has received term fees for his schooling for the months of April and May 2024.   Long  attends classes and activities conducted by The  Sisters of the Charity of Jesus and Mary.  

Long has been diagnosed with Down Syndrome and Mental Retardation since the age of 2 and is unable to lead a normal life without the assistance of his carers. We intend to support his medical needs within the next few months and rely on our donors to help achieve that.  

Recently the children did a performance in school and this is a picture of them together with the educators.
